This series of carriages is comprised of 31 A1 carriages, 32 A2 carriages, 60 B1 carriages, 60 B2 carriages and 43 BKD carriages. They're grouped as follows:

• A2 and B2 (city-city travel)
• A1 and B1 (commuter travel)
• BKD (both of the above)
• serie 10-000, 20-000, 18-000 and 82-000 are classified IC-plus

The carriages are painted in NS house colours, and the windows are tinted solar-sensitive glass. The entry/exit halls are at either end of the carriage and have fold-up seats for overflow capacity. There's one toilet per car. There are variations of 1st and 2nd class, smoking and non-smoking throughout the fleet. The BKD cars have conductor stations.

				IC+ rijtuig	This is the newer IC-plus, or IC+ type coach. A2, B2, BKD and the Queen Beatrix Royal coaches are available.
